The Story

A little convention adventure, with needle and thread in tow.

I made this Hornet design for a small handmade batch that I brought to Anime NYC. The remaining pieces are now available here for friends who couldn’t visit my table.

Her red cloak, sweeping thread, and blue-green base bring a small scene to your keyboard. Once this stock sells out, the listing will remain sold out. I do not plan to make more before my next convention.

Handmade From Start to Finish

I hand-sculpted the original master, made the mold, and cast each keycap in resin. Each casting is then individually hand-painted and finished, from Hornet’s red cloak to the needle and thread details.

Small differences in brushwork and color placement are part of each handmade piece.

The production sequence is already stated on your current listing; the red cloak, needle, thread, and blue-green base are visible in the photographs.

Care Instructions

Handle by the base, not the head, horns, needle, or thread details. Use a suitable keycap puller and lift gently and evenly. Clean with a soft, dry brush or microfiber cloth; do not soak. Avoid alcohol, solvents, excessive heat, and prolonged direct sunlight. Protect the raised details from drops and pressure.
