Color Spill Studio Cat Acrylic Standee & Memo Holder

It usually starts with one simple idea. Then I add a color. Then another. Some of them argue; others turn out to get along surprisingly well. Somewhere between changing my mind and seeing what happens next, the picture begins to feel like mine.

Color Spill Studio is that part of making things: the mess, the hesitation and the fun of following an idea a little farther than planned. I put it into a cat who can sit beside your own work in progress. A note, a photograph, the next thing you want to try: there is a small place for it here, among all that color.
